With all the pertinent info garbled for privacy reasons.
We have a simple, yet cute, penguin party favor which isn't quite finished, so no pictures yet; and we will have penguins on the cake.
This was the first time I've ever made fondant, used fondant, or done anything with penguins, but I think they turned out pretty cute. When I finish the cake, I will post more pictures.
How do you think they turned out?

I think they are absolutely stunning! As usual, you have outdone yourself. But you set the bar so high, how can you keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dubby. While the fondant was an interesting experience, I think this party is probably the easiest one I've ever done. Ever. One of the most expensive ones though. Usually I do a lot more work, and save a lot more money! Sara is excited though, and that is what it's all about!

ReplyDeleteThat's quite a compliment! I definitely am pleased with how well they turned out, but I'm not sure I'd consider cake decorating as a career! I did not use a cookie cutter. I made a paper template from some of my clip art and went from there.
